BISHOPHILL & CLEMENTHOPRE - A DEEP DIVE

Length - maximum distance approx. 5km/3miles

Time approx. 2 hours

Start & finish:  Baile Hill, YO1 6DU

Join me for a slightly different wander around an interesting area just outside of York city centre. This walk is something that my walking group on a Tuesday have often talked about doing. The aim is to walk around the areas of Bishophill and Clementhorpe, following the old lanes, footpaths and generally being a bit nosey, stopping to look at all the evidence of the areas long history. We will not be walking a long way, so if you like a walk without stopping then be warned this is not really for you, I have a route in mind which may change as we walk. Coffee will be procured along the way. This should be a fun and informative walk.

A mixture of tarmac and off road paths, so prepare for mud if it has rained.

Cost - £10 per head (or half price with Tuesday walking Group subscription, see my Facebook page or website for more details). Cash preferred but bank transfer always available. I am currently looking into electronic payments using my phone.
