New Earswick A Rowntree Walk

New Earswick - A Rowntree Walk

Join me for a walk around New Earswick, the village which was created by Joseph Rowntree for his workers to live in pleasant surroundings a few miles north of York city centre. This is a pleasant and informative walk starting at the Folk Hall, wandering through the streets of the model village as well as a riverside stroll along the banks of the River Foss. There will be a cafe stop probably at the Folk Hall itself, but there are other options we can decide on the day.

Meet - 10 am - New Earswick Folk Hall where there is a large free car park
