A RETURN TO YORK CENTRAL

Length - maximum distance approx. 5km/3miles

Time approx. 2 hours

Start & finish:  York Railway Station

Join me for a revisit to this fast changing area directly behind York Station. This will be our fourth walk through this area within the last year, each time the area has changed dramatically since our last visit. If you are interested or just nosey about what s happening in York Central then this is the walk for you.

We will meet in the entrance to York Station, this area immediately outside the station is an ever changing area of York too. To begin with we will walk through the station towards the Railway Museum and onwards up to Clifton/Water End Bridge where we will find a coffee stop (York Youth Hostel or Clifton Green) we will then return to the station via the back streets of Clifton & Bootham and along riverside paths.

A mixture of tarmac and off road paths, so prepare for mud if it has rained.

Cost - £10 per head (or half price with Tuesday walking Group subscription, see my Facebook page or website for more details). Cash preferred but bank transfer always available. I am currently looking into electronic payments using my phone.
