RED TOWER & ST NICKS

Length 5.5km/3miles

Time approx. 2 hours

Start & finish:  Red Tower, Foss Islands Road, York, YO31 7UL

Join me for a wander around part of East York. Starting from the Red Tower on Foss Island Road, we will explore the Hungate area next to the River Foss, visit the hidden St Anthony's Gardens, walk along an old railway line through some of York's green spaces, we will even visit York's very own Stone Circle hidden within St Nicks Nature Reserve.

If this sounds interesting then please join me as we wander and nosey around.

Refreshment & toilet stop available at Hungate Library

A mixture of tarmac and off road paths, so prepare for mud if it has rained.

Cost - £10 per head (or half price with Tuesday walking Group subscription, see my Facebook page or website for more details). Cash preferred but bank transfer always available. I am currently looking into electronic payments using my phone.
